Lets Meet the Cake Lady

Hi Y'all!

I'm Sabrina Born and Raised here in Fredericksburg, VA

Living my dream one Cake at a time I thought my first blog post should be about me introducing myself Right?! So here it goes.. I'm a believer of Jesus Christ, Southern living and Overly priced Starbucks drinks I may also be overly obsessed with anything pink, any vintage kitchen decor. I'm a Cat Mama to the cutest, craziest kitty Tabby! My best friend just so happens to be my identical twin sister literally my A1 since Day 1! She is "my person" (a little greys anatomy for ya) <--- Which I actually can't watch anymore because it made me to emotional and I got to attached to the characters LOL. I'm surrounded by Great friends and Family i don't know what i would do with out them they all keep me sane especially Travis i don't know how I did life without him before he came along, everyone is right the right one comes along when your not even looking <3 Well enough about Sabrina and a little more about my business. Well little 12 year old Sabrina was scrolling through the TV one day and came across a reality TV show called Cake Boss I'm pretty sure I watched a marathon of it that day but I was so amazed in the work and talent I saw and instantly knew I had to start baking everything and anything that I could, when I got to high school I had an opportunity that my high school offered it was a Culinary I & II course for your Junior and Senior year my two first weeks of the class I instantly fell in love with baking I loved everything about it how making something such as a pie dough could relieve all the stress that you had and relax you I knew this is what God called me to do, but the instructor didn't see a future in any of the rising chefs. I was put down so hard that the love I had for baking began to turn into hate over this instructors mean words I second guessed everything and decided that this career wasn't for me. Well my momma and the good lord had other plans she pushed me to apply to culinary school and pushed me to not give up on my dreams. Here I am Graduate from a University with my Associates in Baking and Pastry Arts and a Business Owner of my dream bakery and I can't thank her and my sisters enough for it.

Don't let anyone ever tell you that you cant reach your dreams or discourage you in anyway, I let it happen to me. I let the mean words break me down and I almost gave up. If you're ever feeling discourage I'm letting you know that you should'nt because you got me and i'm going to tell you to just take a deep breath get a big gulp of coffee (Venti soy white chocolate mocha please) and hustle hard because YOU GOT THIS!
